Welcome to the Spanish Script Tutorial created by the Center for Family History and Genealogy at Brigham Young University. This tutorial will guide you in reading christening and marriage records written in Spanish. It is designed to present basic principles, examples, and practice exercises which will enable you to identify specific parts and characteristics of old handwritten documents. In the navigation bar on the right, you will find quick links to sections of interest.
